A large number of couples all over the world are finding it difficult to conceive. The main reasons are:
- Late marriage
- Increasing problems with sperm production in male due to exposure to environmental toxins
- Increasing hormonal problems in women such as polycystic ovarian disease and hypothyroidism
- Increasing trend in diseases such as fibroids and endometriosis
- Other pathologies such as abnormalities of the uterus and pelvic inflammatory disease
We are offering a basket of services starting from evaluation of both partners with investigations such as hysterosalpingography, semen analysis and hematological profile to advanced procedures and therapies.
Hysteroscopy & Laparoscopy : This surgery can be used to evaluate the abdomen, pelvis, ovaries, Fallopian tubes & uterus and treat pathologies such as fibroids, endometriosis, uterine anomalies, pelvic adhesions & intrauterine adhesions. This inproves the chances of getting pregnant spontaneously or with other therapies.
Basic Infertility Treatment including planned relations & intrauterine insemination : These procedures involve stimulating the ovaries to produce 1-2 eggs and improve the chances of conception in couples with unexplained infertility and mild reproductive problems. The choice of procedure is decided after evaluation of the couple.
In Vitro Fertiliztion (or test tube baby) : This involves stimulating the woman’s ovaries to produce multiple eggs, suck out the eggs anf fertilize them with sperms outside the body. Once a eggs are fertilized (embryos) we choose the best quality embryos and place them in the uterus. If the woman cannot produce enough eggs, egg or embryo donation is offered. If she does not have a uterus or the uterus has been removed or badly damaged, surrogacy is offered.
Since often multiple types of therapies require involvement of people with different fields of expertise, we have teamed up with radiologist & embryologists to provide various options. This allows the most comprehensive treatment to the couple under one roof. The best type or sequence of therapy is decided after extensive evaluation so that the chances of pregnancy is optimised and also at the most reasonable cost to the patient.
